剛過完聖誕節的那個凌晨

一回家就收到ServicePuntIO寄來的一封信

標題是Waarschuwing/Warning 45.00 GB bereikt/reached







簡單翻譯一下大意：



（連親愛的學生這一句都沒有 直接進入正題）



在檢查你學生宿舍的網路外向流量的時候
我們發現它已經超過45GB了
我們要通知你一旦超過50GB你的上傳頻寬就會被限制



（然後就是單位署名和電話等等了　言簡意賅）



趕快害怕地去查了一下TU Delft的規定：

　
Users of "Access FttD" may generate outgoing traffic (upload) at full speed (maximally 100 Mbps (megabits per second)) up to a maximum of 50 GB (gigabytes) per calendar month. Once this amount has been reached a limitation on the bandwidth of outgoing traffic of 128 kbps comes into effect until the end of the calendar month. This is comparable to the outgoing speed of a normal ADSL subscription. The incoming bandwidth is not limited and remains maximally 100 Mbps (download).



還好嘛...

算是很人性化的

原來50GB是累月計的



就算破錶了也只有上傳速度會被限制

下載速度還是火力全開

真是貼心哪



難怪以前打魔戒開線上對戰的時候

打遍全球連線速度最快的都是荷蘭人...

我真是太枉費咕嚕國的連線速度了



不過話說其實我有把安裝片帶來說...
